Privacy Policy
1. Data we collect
We collect the information you provide when you create an account, configure a workspace, and run visibility checks against public AI engines. This includes account-registration details (name, work email, organisation), workspace configuration (brand terms, monitored engines, review policy), and the responses captured during scans for adjudication and audit purposes.
We also collect operational telemetry needed to deliver the service: API usage counts, feature interactions, error reports, and basic device and connection metadata.
- Account-registration details (name, work email, organisation)
- Workspace configuration (brand terms, monitored engines, review policy)
- Captured AI engine responses, with PII redaction applied per the methodology document
- Operational telemetry (API usage, error reports, basic device and connection metadata)
- Anonymous usage analytics for the public marketing site (lawnise.com) via Google Analytics 4 — analytics cookies, client identifiers, and session attribution are consent-gated; cookieless denied-state pings may occur before consent per ADVANCED Consent Mode v2 (no cookies, no identifiers, aggregate consent-rate modeling only)
2. How we use your data
We use the information above to deliver the service, run scheduled and on-demand scans, adjudicate findings against evidence, and surface visibility, reputation, competitive, and product gaps to the workspace owners. We also use it to operate, secure, and improve the platform, and to respond to support requests.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer-side configuration data to train third-party models.
3. Data retention
Workspace configuration is retained for the lifecycle of the customer agreement. Captured AI responses are retained per the workspace's selected retention mode, as documented in the Trust Center.
Account information is retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to support audit, dispute resolution, and regulatory obligations.
4. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act and the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act, you have rights to access, correct, and request deletion of personal information held about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, the equivalent rights set out under that regulation are available, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.
- Right to access the personal information held about you
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information
- Right to request deletion of personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
- Right to object to or restrict certain processing activities
5. Cookies and Consent Mode v2
When you arrive at lawnise.com for the first time, no analytics cookies are set, no client or session identifiers are written, and no Google Analytics 4 attribution to your session occurs until you choose via the cookie banner. Under Google's ADVANCED Consent Mode v2 mode, anonymous cookieless denied-state pings may still occur during the default-denied window — these contain no personal identifiers, set no cookies, and feed Google's aggregate consent-rate modeling only (no per-user attribution).
At Stage 1 the only consent-gated category is analytics. Advertising and personalization tags are not used at Stage 1; if Lawnise adds them in a future Stage, the cookie banner will reappear so you can re-consent under the new category surface.
To revoke a prior consent choice, clear the lawnise.com cookies and site data in your browser; the cookie banner will reappear on your next visit. Stored preferences expire automatically after 365 days, at which point the banner reappears.
The full list of cookies, the purpose of each cookie, and how to manage cookie preferences are described in the Cookie Policy.
6. Contact
For questions about this policy or to exercise your rights, contact legal@lawnise.com. We aim to acknowledge requests within five working days and to complete them within the timelines required by the applicable jurisdiction.
