Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on the Lawnise website (www.lawnise.com) and the Lawnise platform (app.lawnise.com).
1. The website (www.lawnise.com)
The website does not require you to sign in and sets no sign-in or preference cookies of its own.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent). Google Analytics 4 cookies are set only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner:
- _ga — Purpose: Google Analytics 4 client identifier; attributes a visit to a pseudonymous client; Duration: 2 years
- _ga_<container> — Purpose: Google Analytics 4 session identifier; Duration: 2 years
Before you choose, Google's Consent Mode can send signals that set no cookies. We do not set the _gid or _gcl_au cookies and do not load advertising tags.
Ahrefs Web Analytics (no cookies). Ahrefs measures website visits without setting cookies. To do so it processes your IP address and browser details to create an identifier that changes daily, and records the pages you visit and the page that referred you. It is not controlled by the cookie banner. See our Privacy Policy.
Your choice. The cookie banner stores your choice in your browser's local storage (lawnise-consent-v1) for 365 days; then the banner appears again. To change your choice, clear the site data for lawnise.com in your browser and choose again when the banner reappears. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
New tags. If we add advertising or other non-essential tags, we will update this page and the Subprocessors page, and ask for your consent again where required.
2. The platform (app.lawnise.com)
The platform uses only cookies that are strictly necessary to sign you in and protect your session. They are not used for analytics or advertising, and sign-in does not work without them.
- __Host-lawnise_session — Purpose: Keeps you signed in; Duration: Up to 8 hours
- __Host-lawnise_csrf — Purpose: Protects your actions against cross-site request forgery; Duration: Up to 8 hours (same as your session)
- __Host-lawnise_sso_binding — Purpose: Links a single sign-on attempt to your browser; Duration: 10 minutes
