Acceptable Use Policy
This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everyone using Lawnise, including through a connected AI application.
1. Do not use Lawnise to
- Break any law, or infringe anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual property.
- Submit content you do not have the right to submit, or personal data you are not allowed to share — in particular sensitive personal data (such as health information, government identification numbers or financial account details) — unless the law allows it and it is needed for your check.
- Harass, defame or harm any person, or generate or spread content that does.
- Attempt to access another organisation's data, probe or test the Service for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or bypass any security, rate, credit or approval control.
- Interfere with the Service or its providers — for example by overloading it, or by automated access outside the documented interfaces (the web app, the Lawnise connector and published APIs).
- Use the web-page check to reach systems you are not authorised to access, or to fetch content in a way that breaks the target site's terms or the law.
- Use public-AI monitoring to target private individuals, or to collect personal data about people for profiling.
- Resell, sublicense or provide the Service to others without a signed agreement with us.
- Misrepresent Lawnise results — for example presenting advisory results as certification, or editing receipts or reports while presenting them as unchanged.
2. Connected AI applications
You are responsible for what an AI application you connect does in Lawnise. Do not use a connected application to get around your organisation's approval settings, to act beyond the projects and capabilities you approved, or to run paid actions without the confirmation your organisation requires.
3. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected breaches, remove content, and suspend or end access as described in the Terms. Where reasonable, we will tell you first.
4. Reporting
Report suspected misuse to support@lawnise.com.
